Simulator: Analog Inputs |
|
|
The "Analog Inputs" window simulates the Analog Input features of the RTCU platform.
The sliders in the middle of the window are used to set the Analog Input value for each of the channels. The sliders are coupled with entry fields just to the right of each slider. Each slider will follow its entry field and vice versa. After setting a new Analog Input value either by using the slider or the entry field, the "Set" button to the right of each entry field must be clicked. The value will only be set once the button has been pressed. This avoids spurious input values caused by changing the positions of the sliders.
The names of the individual inputs used in the application are shown to the right of each input to help remember which inputs are used for which signal in the application. Hovering the mouse pointer over one of the names will show the comment placed in the application for that specific input.
On the left side of the window is a list of devices that contribute to the total number of Analog Inputs available (see Project View for more info). The "Onboard" device represents the RTCU device itself, while the rest of the devices are for IO extension modules that have been defined in the project. If a device does not support all of the 8 Analog Inputs, the unsupported inputs will be disabled.
